Project Brief
Shine Orthodontics is a very established and reputable Orthodontic practice in Brisbane. They engaged Online Medical to create an updated web presence. The reason was primarily to refresh the site and change to the Drupal CMS platform. The new website needed to utilise the existing brand effectively.
Project Details
The styling of the logo is quite simple, with incorporates a strong yellow colour. Balancing the strength of the yellow colour throughout, so that it was not overwhelming was an important consideration. The information architecture was revisited to improve categorisation, labelling and also to incorporate the new content and features.
We took the opportunity to update the design and also incorporate adaptive image technology (provides custom sized / cropped images to suit small, medium and large displays (at normal or retina / @2x resolutions).
The deisgn updates were quite subtle but allowed us to optimise the size of certain elements for an improved overall user experience.
Project Result
Impactful banner images, combined with refined typography formed a classy, modern design. The information is easy to navigate and provides a good user experience. The client was extremely happy with the result.
