Why use a professional photographer?
Online Medical offers professional photography services available at a fixed price per day or half-day photoshoot. We recommend the use of our well-shot, original photography to our clients as a sound basis for a great benefit to the visual presentation of their website.
We can use stock images, but finding appropriate imagery can be difficult depending on the level of specialisation. Unique images that show your location and your staff will typically trump stock photography.
Presuming you have a nice environment and well-presented staff, rest assured that with a bit of forethought and planning you will be very happy with the end result. We can assist you to plan your photoshoot to get the most out of the day.
An extra benefit is that building your own photo library allows you to leverage this content for use in any other media applications you may need.
We recommend only Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) Accredited professionals. An accredited professional combines a love and passion for their craft with a dedication to dealing in an ethical and professional manner, with a desire to give you the ultimate customer experience.
Trained, Educated and Skilled Photographers
Trained
Trained because all Accredited professionals must have a minimum of 2 years experience with on the job training before they can apply to become Accredited Members of the AIPP.
Educated
Educated because all Accredited professionals need to continue their professional development by taking part in the AIPP Continuous Professional Development (CPD) program.
Skilled
Skilled because all Accredited professionals are encouraged to improve their skill through taking part in the AIPP awards programs, learning from their peers and increasing their craft and skill.
Getting the most value from Photography services
Some preparation on your part will allow you to get the most out of this valuable resource. If there are image banners used in your site (e.g.: images featured on the Homepage or Internal pages), these should be decided upon / approved before the shoot. We can work with you to develop a basic shotlist, which would incorporate details about banners if applicable. A shotlist is a good reference for both the client and the photographer. It offers insight into what may be required to prepare for the shoot, including:
- Which staff members need to attend, where and when
- How participants should be dressed, changes of clothing
- What facilities or props may be required
- Timing and preparation for any surgery facilities or patients involved
- Additional people that should be involved (to act as models in the shoot)
- The need for model releases and other permissions paperwork if required (e.g.: surgery)
